Pay rate: £350 - £400 per day 

 

 

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking an Senior Supervisor on behalf of a leading infrastructure company. 

 

 

 

Job purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Supervisor to join the established team in Doncaster on a 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful running of a team within a fast-paced work environment, and the successful candidate will provide hands-on support with all essential daily operational tasks.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals Works as allocated by the Renewals Manager.
• Responsible for planning and directing the activities of Site Supervisors and track staff.
• Hold Whiteboard / Stage Gate meetings in accordance with CRSA Track Renewals Procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion.
• Ensure agreed performance and other KRA’s are met
• Ensure compliance with Contract allowables for all works.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety Legislation and Welfare Regulations.
• Responsible for ensuring all works undertaken comply with contract specifications and Network Rail Group and Line Standards.
• Responsible for ensuring works are undertaken by competent staff.
• Assist with the provision of technical support to the Senior Engineer, Senior Supervisor and Renewals Manager.
• Support the Renewals Manager in delivering the Alliance IUT Programme as required.
• Deliver Duty Management and ‘On Call’ as required.
• Participate in the planning and preparation of Track Renewal works.
• Co-ordinate/Chair/Attend and record site meetings.
• Undertake safety inspection as stipulated by CRSA procedures and Contract requirements.
• Assist in the production of WPP’s and Task Briefs.
• Ensure appropriate Daily Work Returns (Planned v Actuals) are submitted in a timely manner

 

Qualifications/Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification is essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Own transport essential due to the requirement to travel across different sites
• COSS desirable
